The basic retractable post features a 4-way connection, black slow-retract belt, and a rubberized base, combining premium attributes with a budget-friendly price. Constructed from solid steel, this strong and durable post includes a premium internal 7' belt mechanism. It is shipped in 2 pieces (post & base) to minimize freight costs and can be easily assembled with a simple twist of a key (included). Once assembled, the post becomes permanently affixed to the base and should not be disassembled. The product is also designed under Beltrac Design USPTO® No. 2,472,720 and is compliant with industry standards.
