The 3/8" ratchet is designed for assembly and maintenance work on electronic, pneumatic electric, and electricity-controlled equipment, with maximum recommended torque of 1800 in-lb. It features two attachment systems for sockets and accessories: a traditional spring-loaded ball detent and a quick release system for easy attachment and detachment. This ratchet is particularly effective when working with grease and oil, as it is made from forged chrome-vanadium micro alloy steel. The design includes a retaining ring for easy access to the mechanism and allows for part changes with reduced risk of accidental disarming. Additionally, the tooth count has been increased from 24 to 48, enhancing the recovering angle from 15° to 7.5°. The black phosphate finish helps prevent particle shedding, protecting processes and products from contamination.
