Heavy-duty wagon trucks with a 3500 lbs. capacity feature fifth wheel steering, where the front wheels and axle assembly pivot on a center point known as the fifth wheel. This design reduces friction when turning compared to swivel casters, making the trucks easier to maneuver under heavier loads, especially when equipped with softer, wider pneumatic wheels for rough or uneven surfaces. These wagon trucks can be both pulled and pushed, and the T-handle with vinyl handgrips allows two-man operation. The deck is constructed from heavy 12 gauge reinforced steel with a 3" retaining lip, supported by full 1-inch diameter axles and roller bearing wheels, and includes a structural channel undercarriage to enhance load capacity and durability.
