It is stronger than standard vinyl, preventing seam splitting and hinge tearing, and is environmentally friendlier. The binder includes locking Slant-D rings that hold 25% more letter-size paper, gel tab triggers for easy use, and back-mounted steel rings for a clean spine. It is cold-crack tested to negative 50 degrees Fahrenheit and has horizontal pockets inside front and back covers, each holding 40 sheets. The binder has a sturdy chipboard core and exposed rivets.
