Lateral file with four drawers and a 30-inch width features double-walled base construction for rigidity and a baked enamel finish over rust-inhibiting phosphate pretreatment for durability. It includes telescoping ball-bearing suspension for smooth drawer operation, adjustable hangrails for letter or legal-size folders, and aluminum recessed drawer pulls. The mechanical interlock allows one drawer to open at a time. The file has four adjustable leveling guides, a core-removable lock securing both drawer sides, and reinforced steel case construction.
