The AmScope new binocular compound microscope is designed for teaching demonstrations, clinical examinations, and laboratory applications, making it an ideal instrument for teachers and students, including those in medical school or with a major in biology. It features a 30° inclined 360° swiveling Siedentopf binocular head, a double layer mechanical stage with coarse and fine focusing, and an LED illumination system. With six magnification settings of 40X, 100X, 250X, 400X, 1000X, and 2500X, it includes four achromatic objectives (DIN 4X, 10X, 40X(S), 100X(S, OIL)) and two pairs of widefield eyepieces (WF10X and WF25X). Key features include adjustable interpupillary distance and ocular diopter, variable intensity illumination, coaxial coarse and fine focus adjustment, and focusing knobs on both sides. The microscope also features a stage upward moving lock to protect objectives and slides, a stain-resistant double layer mechanical stage, an NA1.25 Abbe condenser with iris diaphragm and filters, and rack and pinion adjustment for the condenser.
