The accessory kit is specifically designed for high energy environments, featuring the SureGrip test probe which has only 4 mm of exposed metal at the tip to minimize the risk of inadvertent shorts between probes and other metal surfaces, thereby reducing the potential for arc flash explosions. Included in the kit are probe extenders that fit between modular test leads and test probes, extending the distance between the user and a live circuit by 20.5 cm (8 inches). The TP238 and TL224 probes adhere to the safety standard IEC 61010-2-031, with a maximum rating of 1000V CAT III, 600V CAT IV, and pollution degree 2. The 10A probe extenders also conform to the IEC 61010-2-031 safety standard, with the same maximum ratings and pollution degree specifications.
