The 4 inch Eco Funnel for Justrite® safety cans is designed to minimize emissions from open waste containers and enhance lab safety in the collection of hazardous liquid waste. It features a latching lid with a gasket that keeps fumes contained, while a removable large particle filter captures stir bars and other items to prevent them from contaminating the waste liquid. Constructed from durable HDPE, the funnel offers a wider, strategically placed opening to facilitate controlled pouring without spills. Once closed, the Eco Funnel® lid helps reduce evaporation of hazardous liquids. The complete system includes a 4" Eco Funnel with a red lid and a Justrite® 5 gallon polyethylene safety can in natural color. The funnel has a fluid capacity of 450 ml and is equipped with a custom screw cap that secures it to the waste container, along with a gasket inside the lid and a sturdy positive latch to keep the lid securely closed. The dimensions of the system are 12.5"L x 12.5"W x 25.5"H when the lid is closed, and 12.5"L x 12.5"W x 30.5"H when the lid is open. Justrite® containers are FM approved and equipped with a flame arrestor, ensuring safety even with the Eco Funnel® attached.
