This microscope illuminator light source control box features a 150 watt halogen light source with variable intensity, delivering strong, even, and cool daylight illumination. It includes a built-in heat filter and a specially designed slot for color filters (available as optional items), along with solid-state controls for full adjustment of intensity. The convenient top window design allows for easy bulb changes, and an auto-shut-off mechanism ensures electrical safety by cutting off electricity when the window is open. This high-intensity lighting system utilizes a 24V/150W quartz halogen bulb and incorporates a forced air cooling system, providing a lamp color temperature of 3200 degrees Kelvin. Constructed from durable metal, the unit is manufactured under ISO 9001 standards and comes with an excellent one-year manufacturer warranty. The package includes a two-step mounting adapter with 5/8" (16mm) and 25/32" (20mm) inside diameters for attaching fiber optic light cables, available in gooseneck or ring configurations, making it suitable for both biological and electronic applications.
