This microscope is equipped with a 640x480 pixel USB digital camera, making it an excellent educational tool for students learning science. It features five magnification settings: 40x, 100x, 250x, 400x, and 1000x, and includes full glass optical elements, a metal framework, and a 45° inclined 360° rotating monocular head. The LED illumination system can operate using an included outlet adapter or three AA batteries. The detachable digital camera captures still images and video, allowing live streaming on a PC. The included Windows software provides image-development and measurement tools, including advanced features such as image-stitching and extended depth of focus. The camera is also compatible with Mac computers as a driverless imaging device, working with various applications like ProScope and Photo Booth. The microscope incorporates a plain stage with clips, a stain-resistant finish, single lens condenser, and a six-hole disc diaphragm, with focusing control knobs on both sides.
