This fiber optic ring illuminator for microscopes is in mint condition and features a metal-sheathed light cable measuring 35" (890mm) in length. The unit has a 150-watt halogen variable intensity ring light with an inside diameter of 2-1/8" (56mm) and an outside diameter of 3-1/8" (80mm). It is fully adjustable in intensity and utilizes a 110V solid-state light source with a two-step adaptive hole for fiber optic cable, compatible with diameters of 5/8" and 25/32" (16mm and 20mm). This cool high-intensity lighting system, with a lamp color temperature of 3200 degrees Kelvin, provides even and bright illumination that is ideal for biological and electronic applications without generating excess heat. Additional features include a forced air cooling system, durable metal construction, a high-intensity 24V/150W quartz halogen bulb, and it is manufactured under ISO 9001 standards.
