Avant Gauze is a four-ply, nonsterile, nonwoven dressing made from a rayon and polyester blend with cotton. It is designed to reduce lint production and minimize trauma to fragile granulating wound tissue due to its virtually nonadherent nature. This gauze features fast wicking ability to promote a healthy healing environment, balancing strength and absorbency. It is suitable for wound care applications where gentle, effective dressing is required. The product is white in color and offers enhanced performance compared to traditional cotton gauze.
