The workbench features a 72"W x 30"D adjustable height C-channel leg design with a maple butcher block safety edge top by John Boos & Co. The 1-3/4" thick rounded safety-edge maple butcher block is kiln dried, electronically cured, and sealed with a mineral oil protectant, providing a smooth, strong surface capable of withstanding heavy-duty use and continual pounding. The ergonomically designed safety edge rolled front prevents damage to parts or discomfort when leaning against the bench. Adjustable-height C-channel steel legs, finished with a scratch-resistant gray powder coat and undercoated for rust resistance, allow height adjustment in 1-1/2" increments. Legs include removable duplex knockouts on both the front and rear for installation of either hard-wired electrical outlets or optional plug-in outlets that easily screw into place without wiring. The bench stringer includes mounting hardware to assemble the legs to the bench top, ensuring a high weight capacity suitable for most projects and tasks.
