The Justrite® Safety Can is a standard safety can with a 2-1/2 gallon capacity, designed for the safe and easy handling of flammable liquids while minimizing the risk of ignition and protecting personnel from fire and explosion hazards. It features a double-mesh flame arrestor screen inside the spout to prevent flashback, and a spring-loaded cap that closes automatically after pouring. The long-life synthetic gasket is engineered to resist virtually all liquids and maintain a tight seal. This Type II filling can includes an independent rapid fill opening and a 9-inch flexible metal nozzle, constructed from stainless steel Type 316 for applications where high purity is essential. The can is an accepted container under CARB and complies with OSHA and NFPA requirements, and is FM approved. Additionally, the safety cans are UL and ULC listed and come with a 10-year limited warranty.
