The Eagle Lab Pack Drum has a 14-gallon capacity and is designed for the storage of smaller non-damaged bottles, cans, carboys, and 5-gallon pails containing non-leaking hazardous materials. Constructed from blow molded, high-density polyethylene, these blue lab packs exhibit chemical and weather resistance, with an operating temperature range of -30°F to 130°F. They are nestable for compact storage when not in use and feature a metal lever-lock for secure lid attachment. The lab pack containers are approved for use with packing groups I, II, and III, and are UN certified to HM-181, passing the UL 94HB flammability rating. They comply with FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 food grade quality, SPCC standards, and DOT 49 CFR 173.12 regulations. These lab packs are ideal for the safe storage, handling, and transportation of hazardous materials, spill containment, cleanup, original shipping container applications, and bio-waste disposal and incineration. It is essential to pack leaking materials with sufficient sorbents to ensure there are no free liquids.
