The Wesco® Universal Drum Lifter is designed to accommodate both open head and closed head drums weighing up to 1,000 lbs. It is suitable for use with steel or poly drums featuring a minimum chime thickness of 3/16". This lifter incorporates 3-point contact lifting arms with limited rotation to reduce drum chime deflection when lifting a loaded drum without a lid, thus minimizing drum deformation. The operation is straightforward; simply raise the lifter to engage the arms automatically on the drum rim for lifting, and lower it to the floor to unfasten the arms for easy removal. The lifting arms are adjustable, making the lifter compatible with most 30 and 55-gallon drums. Constructed from durable steel, the standard drum lifter is engineered specifically for lifting and moving both open or closed head drums.
