The Brecknell GP-USB series bench scale features a USB virtual COM port that facilitates communication between the scale and a computer. It is constructed with a durable 22 gauge steel base, designed to protect against damage. The electro-mechanical design ensures greater accuracy even at higher weight capacities, while the 1" high internal backlit display is easily readable and integrated into the scale base. The scale includes an attached handle for easy transport and keyboard functions that encompass hold, tare, and units. To conserve battery life, the display will shut down after two minutes of non-use. The scale can withstand a maximum weight capacity of 200 kg (400 lb) without sustaining damage. It operates on one 9V battery (included), with the option of using an AC adapter and USB cable, which are sold separately. The scale can also be configured via the keypad for off, two, or four minutes of inactivity.
