The Brecknell GP-USB series bench scale features a USB virtual COM port that communicates between the scale and computer. It has a durable 22 gauge steel base designed to protect against damage to the scale, while its electro-mechanical design ensures greater accuracy even at higher weight capacities. The scale includes an attached handle for easy transport and a 1" high internal backlit display that is easily readable and integrated into the scale base. Keyboard functions include hold, tare, and units, with a unique key button design that ensures reliability and longevity. To conserve battery life, the display will shut down after two minutes of non-use. The scale is capable of withstanding 200 kg (400 lb) of weight without sustaining damage and can be configured via the keypad for off, two, or four minutes. It operates on one 9V battery (included), while the AC adapter and USB cable are not included and sold separately.
