The Guard Mounted Direct Drive Exhaust Fans feature a 14" diameter fan designed for low-pressure exhausting and cooling applications, capable of being bolted directly to the wall. The fan is equipped with 3 aluminum blades that are enclosed in steel spiral wire guards for enhanced safety, and these wire guards come with built-in mounting holes for straightforward installation. The unit operates on a 120V, single-phase motor that is totally enclosed and permanently lubricated, ensuring long life and UL listing for safety compliance. The fans are operated via a pull chain and include a junction box for direct wiring. It is important to note that the rough-in hole size required is 1/2" (+/- 5/16) larger than the fan blade size, and optional wall shutters are also available. The horsepower rating is determined based on maximum speed/load.
