The 16" diameter guard mounted direct drive exhaust fans are designed for low-pressure exhausting and cooling applications, allowing for direct bolting to the wall. These fans feature three aluminum blades enclosed in durable steel spiral wire guards for enhanced safety, with built-in mounting holes for straightforward installation. The unit operates on a 120V, single-phase motor that is totally enclosed and permanently lubricated, ensuring longevity, and it is UL listed for safety compliance. The exhaust fans are equipped with pull chain operation and include a junction box for direct wiring. It is important to note that the rough-in hole size should be 1/2" (+/- 5/16) larger than the fan blade size, and optional wall shutters are available for added functionality. The horsepower rating is based upon maximum speed/load.
