The Guard Mounted Direct Drive Exhaust Fans feature a 20" diameter fan designed for low-pressure exhausting and cooling applications, capable of being bolted directly to the wall. Constructed with three aluminum fan blades enclosed in steel spiral wire guards for safety, the wire guards also include built-in mounting holes to facilitate easy installation. The unit operates on a 120V, single-phase motor that is totally enclosed and permanently lubricated to ensure long life, and is UL listed for safety compliance. The fans are equipped with pull chain operation and include a junction box for direct wiring. It is important to note that the rough-in hole size should be 1/2" (+/- 5/16) larger than the fan blade size. Optional wall shutters are available, and the horsepower rating is based upon maximum speed/load.
