The Heavy Duty Panel Fan features an 18" diameter, single-phase motor that operates at 240V. This Multifan model is designed for both exhaust and fresh air intake and can be mounted in either a horizontal or vertical position, making it versatile for agricultural applications like ventilation in greenhouses, pork, dairy, and poultry houses, as well as industrial uses in factories or buildings. It is engineered for continuous operation in highly corrosive environments, suitable for outdoor use and wet applications. The fan blades are made from glass-filled, high impact polypropylene and are powered by a wash down, severe duty ball bearing motor. The sealed motor is Class F insulated and includes automatic thermal protection for low maintenance. Housed in die-cast aluminum, the motor features a labyrinth seal to prevent moisture ingress. Additionally, the fan supports are designed to absorb sound and vibration for low noise operation. The vacuum-formed, heavy-duty fiberglass frame includes corrosion-resistant wire guards on the motor side for added safety. The fan is UL507 certified for outdoor use and C-UL recognized, and it comes with a 3-year limited warranty. The horsepower rating is based on maximum speed/load.
