The thermostats and transformers variable speed controller is designed to manually control one group of variable speed fans, featuring a temperature control range of 41 to 96°F. It offers lightning protection via a PVC non-corrosive enclosure and includes a radio wave interference filter. Users can set the minimum speed of the fan and the activation temperature using an internal dip switch that also allows configuration of functionality below the temperature set point. The temperature control option enables the fan to turn off below the set point, activating at minimum speed at the set point and accelerating over the next 5 degrees to full speed, then reducing back down to minimum speed as the temperature decreases. For guaranteed minimum operation, the fan can run at minimum speed continuously, maintaining this speed while power is supplied. The motor is air-cooled, and users must ensure air movement across the motor to prevent overheating. The product comes with a 2-year limited warranty.
