Energy Star in-line range hood exhaust fans, AXC in-line duct fans are designed for residential, commercial, and light industrial ventilation applications, featuring a quiet and efficient backward-curved impeller capable of significant pressure development. The AXC series ranges in size from 4" to 14", with airflows from 147 CFM to 1400 CFM. Each fan is constructed with heavy-gauge, drawn steel housing finished with baked epoxy, operates on 120V (other voltages available), and includes easy-to-install mounting brackets. The fans can be mounted in any position, suitable for supplying or exhausting air, and operate in temperatures up to 140°F / 60°C. They are energy-efficient and may be speed controllable with an optional solid-state speed control. Additionally, an optional pre-wired version with a 120V power cord (AXC-C) is available. The fans feature an exceptionally quiet and efficient BC centrifugal motorized impeller, an external rotor motor design for superior cooling and durability, and a permanently lubricated ball bearing motor for maintenance-free operation along with automatic reset thermal overload protection. The fan and motor are precision balanced for quiet and vibration-free operation, and an easily accessible external junction box comes with a pre-wired capacitor. The fans are HVI certified for airflow and power at 0.2" SP and come with a five-year warranty. AXC in-line duct fans are particularly effective in solving airflow challenges, boosting airflow through long or complex duct runs and providing ideal solutions for hard-to-heat or cool areas. For bathroom exhaust applications, these fans are noted as the strongest and quietest available, allowing for the exhaust of multiple vents or bathrooms with a single unit. They are user-friendly and straightforward to install.
