The kit is designed to be installed between the dryer and the booster fan to help reduce lint build-up in the duct, thereby improving drying capacity and minimizing maintenance to the fan. It includes a 26 gauge corrosion resistant, satin coat steel construction that can be painted to match the surrounding decor. The system mounts flush to the drywall surface and offers both ceiling and wall mount options, featuring a 9/16" mounting flange. The unit includes a one-piece door with an integral screen and a galvanized mesh filter for effective lint capture. Additionally, the sturdy slide mechanism is simple to use, and this optional lint trap can be utilized with dryer booster kits.
