Modine Hot Dawg® low profile gas-fired unit heaters are designed for both residential and commercial applications, featuring a natural gas-fired unit heater with a capacity of 100,000 BTU that can be installed just one inch below the ceiling. These heaters operate with whisper quiet and vibration-free functionality, achieving 80% thermal efficiency to enhance fuel savings. The non-separated design draws makeup air from within the building or room, and the unit is constructed from 22 gauge aluminized steel with a corrosion-resistant powder coat finish. It is equipped with a permanently lubricated motor for dependable operation, adjustable louvers for directional airflow, and a standard finger-proof fan guard for added safety. The tubular heat exchanger coupled with a tubular in-shot burner ensures reliable performance. The lightweight construction allows for easy installation just 1 inch from the ceiling using the two included angle brackets, and the heaters facilitate field wiring connections with knockouts for straightforward access to gas and electricity. Power exhaust options enable simple side-wall or roof venting with small-diameter vent pipes. The units are CSA certified and must be installed by a licensed contractor. The heaters come with a 10-year limited warranty on the heat exchanger and a 1-year warranty on all other parts, and they are made in the U.S.A.
