The Modine High-Efficiency II™ 175000 BTU Gas-Fired Unit Heater is designed for commercial or industrial applications requiring high input ratings while providing excellent thermal efficiency. This unit operates with 80% thermal efficiency through a collector box and power exhauster, supporting both vertical and horizontal venting options. It features a 100% shut-off, intermittent pilot-ignition system with continuous retry, along with a 1/6 HP PSC motor and a safety pressure switch to ensure safe venting conditions, capable of operating against 0.5 inches of external static pressure. Constructed with a 20 gauge aluminized steel cabinet housing, it also includes an aluminized steel heat exchanger and burner, adjustable louvers, a control terminal board, gas controls, and a fan delay timer. The unit is field-convertible to propane and finished with a corrosion-resistant baked-on powder coat. The level hanging mechanism allows for easy field adjustments, and the product is ETL listed. It must be installed by a licensed contractor and is made in the U.S.A. This unit comes with a 10-year limited warranty on the heat exchanger and a 1-year warranty on all other parts.
