Modine High-Efficiency II™ gas-fired unit heaters are designed for commercial or industrial applications requiring high input ratings, with the Modine High-Efficiency II™ 400,000 BTU model providing exceptional thermal efficiency of 80%. These power-exhausted unit heaters maximize seasonal heating via a collector box and power exhauster, while non-separated models draw makeup air from inside the building. Constructed from 20-gauge aluminized steel, they feature an aluminized steel heat exchanger and burner, with the power exhaust capable of rotating 180°. The unit can be vented either vertically or horizontally and is equipped with a 100% shut-off intermittent pilot-ignition system with continuous retry, a 3/4 HP PSC motor, and a safety pressure switch to ensure safe venting conditions while operating against 0.5 inches of external static pressure. The kit includes adjustable louvers, a control terminal board, gas controls, and a fan delay timer. Additionally, units can be field-converted to propane and feature a corrosion-resistant baked-on powder coat finish, with a level hanging mechanism for easy field adjustments. Certification includes ETL listing, and installation must be performed by a licensed contractor. This product is made in the U.S.A. and comes with a 10-year limited warranty on the heat exchanger and a 1-year warranty on all other parts.
