The SC Preferred low grain refrigerant dehumidifier has a 30-gallon/day dehumidifying capacity and covers up to 2500 ft² at 500 cfm. It uses a low-GWP R32 refrigerant which improves dehumidifying and energy efficiency, performing well at higher temperatures, making it suitable for flood recovery and remediation. The unit features a pump and rotary compressor that provide a 10-foot vertical lift for draining water out of basements. It defaults to continuous drainage for extremely wet conditions but can be set to a specific humidity level to maintain consistent air quality. Operating on standard 120V AC power with the included 10-foot power cord and 3-prong wall outlet plug, the design allows stacking of up to two units to maximize vertical storage. It is CETLus listed and comes with a limited 1-year warranty. The unit runs at a low noise level of ≤60dB, includes a purge feature to drain condensate and reduce maintenance, a rear 8-inch diameter air outlet for ventilation, a reusable and replaceable return air filter, a 27-foot quick-connect drain hose, 12-inch rubber wheels, an adjustable humidistat, and a 24-hour timer.
