This workbench features a 1-1/4" thick conductive white plastic top designed to control static electricity by rapidly bleeding off static build-up, preventing damage to sensitive electronic circuitry during assembly. The properly grounded work surface dissipates a 5000V static charge in 0.01 seconds with a surface resistance of 10¹⁰ Ω. It is easy to clean with soap and water and complies with MIL-B-81705B and 101B, 101C, method 4046 standards. The kit includes a bench stringer with mounting hardware to assemble legs to the benchtop.
