The vertical plate clamp with chain lifting attachment has a 1,000 lb capacity and is made of steel for long-lasting durability. It allows for lifting plate material straight up in vertical positions, with a lifting eye and chain providing greater versatility. The clamp meets ASME B30.20 specifications and has a blue color finish. Its maximum plate thickness is 0.6", throat depth is 1-1/2", and bail opening is 2-1/4". It is not designed for use on stainless steel or aluminum plates and is suitable for materials with a surface hardness up to 30 RC (300 HB).
