It is designed to lift plate material straight up in vertical positions and features a lifting eye and chain for greater versatility. The clamp meets ASME B30.20 specifications and has a blue color finish. Its capacity is 4,000 lbs., with a maximum plate thickness of 1", a throat depth of 3", and a bail opening of 3-3/4". It is intended for use with materials having a surface hardness up to 30 RC (300 HB) and is not designed for use on stainless steel or aluminum plates.
