The pallet truck features an LCD scale with 1-3/8" characters and five function keys (zero, tare, net/gross, print, lb./kg.) that displays weight in 1 lb. increments within the truck's rated capacity and is accurate to 0.01% at rated capacity. It is powered by standard C-cell batteries and includes an RS-232 port for data transmission to a serial device. The high-torque 24V DC drive and lift motors facilitate heavy-duty operations, supported by deep cycle batteries that provide an average of 3-4 hours of operation at full charge, extending to 8 hours when used intermittently. The ergonomic handle incorporates an easy-to-operate throttle with infinite forward and reverse speeds, lift/lower controls, a horn, and a safety-reverse button. A drive motor controller enhances safety by preventing unsafe starts after the safety-reverse button is inadvertently struck. Designed for durability, it has double reinforced welded forks with adjustable tie-rods and an electromagnetic disc brake with an automatic dead-man feature that activates when the user releases the handle. Additionally, the package includes an integral battery charger and a battery level gauge, and it rolls smoothly on polyurethane steer and load wheels.
