Adjust-a-Link Chain Sling is the most easily adjustable and versatile chain sling available, designed to meet the varied requirements of machine shops and maintenance departments. The kit includes a compact plate design that fits larger hooks for easy rigging, a heat-treated alloy steel master control link for strength, reliability, and long life, as well as a Grade 100 alloy steel lifting chain that offers higher capacities. The angled plate design reduces bending torque on the chain and plate, thereby increasing sling life, while the wide top bearing surface reduces wear on both the plate and crane hook. The master plate and hooks are finished with a durable powder coat for added longevity. This chain sling is easily adjustable to accommodate a wide range of applications, allowing for leg length adjustments by one or multiple links at a time. It can be configured for lifting in single leg, double leg, or basket hitch arrangements. The product is OSHA compliant, and users are warned not to exceed rated capacities, as sling capacity decreases as the angle from horizontal decreases, with a recommendation against using slings at angles less than 45°.
