This workbench protects equipment from harmful static by featuring a 1-1/4" thick conductive white plastic top, ideal for controlling static electricity and preventing damage to sensitive electronic circuitry during assembly. The properly grounded work surface rapidly bleeds off static build-up, dissipating a 5000V static charge in 0.01 seconds with a surface resistance of 10¹⁰ Ω. It is easy to clean with soap and water and its static dissipation complies with MIL-B81705B as well as 101B and 101C, Method 4046. The steel parts are finished with a scratch-resistant gray powder coat, and the bench stringer includes mounting hardware to assemble the legs to the benchtop.
