Eagle's 2 gallon, self-closing, bench top flammable liquid safety cabinet is constructed of 18-gauge (1 mm) steel, featuring reinforced double-wall construction with a 1-1/2 in (3.8 cm) air space on the sides, top, bottom, back, and doors. The cabinet includes two internal vents, each equipped with 2 in (5.1 cm) threaded fittings, a fire baffle, and cap, alongside a high-gloss baked-on powder finish that is lead-free and adorned with red trilingual warning labels. It has a grounding attachment, a 3-point stainless steel bullet latching system, and a 2 in (5.1 cm) raised leakproof door sill. The design incorporates continuous piano hinges, four adjustable galvanized leveling legs, and patented adjustable galvanized steel shelves that direct spills to the back and bottom of the leakproof sump, holding a safe allowable load of 350 lbs (159 kg) uniformly distributed. The cabinet ensures safe operation with self-closing doors (135° opening), a flush mounted door handle with key lock, and a concealed self-close mechanism for obstruction-free access to top shelf space. It meets NFPA Code 30 and OSHA requirements, with internal dimensions of 13.75" W x 13.75" D x 13.5" H.
