Eagle's 40-gallon sliding self-close paint and ink safety cabinets are designed to maximize storage space and enhance safety. Constructed from 18-gauge (1 mm) steel, the cabinets feature reinforced double-wall construction with a 1-1/2 in (3.8 cm) air space, ensuring durability and compliance with safety standards. They include two 2 in (5.1 cm) internal vents with fire baffle and cap for ventilation, and a high-gloss powder coat finish with trilingual warning labels. The cabinet's features include a three-point stainless steel bullet latching system, continuous piano hinges, self-closing doors, and a flush-mounted door handle with a key lock. Inside, four adjustable galvanized steel shelves are supported by brackets spaced at 3 in (7.6 cm) centers, capable of holding a uniform distributed load of 350 lbs (158.8 kg). The cabinet is equipped with a 2-in (5.1 cm) raised leakproof door sill and includes four adjustable galvanized leveling legs, as well as a grounding attachment. The internal dimensions measure 39.5 in (100.33 cm) wide, 14.562 in (36.96 cm) deep, and 39.5 in (100.33 cm) high. These cabinets are FM-approved and meet NFPA Code 30 and OSHA requirements, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
