The kit converts your forklift instantly to a jib boom crane by slipping the forks of your counter-balanced lift truck into the fork pockets of the jib boom and attaching the 36" long safety chain to the truck mast. The maximum load on a single hook is 6000 lbs at the 36" hook position and 1800 lbs at the 144" hook position. The boom extends fully to 151-1/4" and retracts to 86-1/4". A safety chain welded to the boom includes a grab hook for anchoring the jib boom to the truck. The package includes two hoisting hooks, one swivel and one rigid, with an adjustable locking screw to secure the boom in any position. Four intermediate support points located 12" apart under the boom provide added support for long loads. The slot lock enables quick chain use, and the boom is finished with a durable chip-resistant enamel. The "S" dimension refers to the distance from center to center of the fork tine sleeves. Note that OSHA requires contacting the manufacturer of your truck for written approval before using any fork truck attachments.
