The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf, heavy duty boltless shelving Z beam starter measures 48"W x 48"D x 60"H and includes wire decking with horizontal beams roll-formed to a Z-profile for added shelf capacity. It supports a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level and features adjustable open shelves at 1" increments. The wire decking sits flush to beams for a neater appearance and increased stability, while also allowing ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and sprinkler water flow for improved fire safety. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing uses double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, forming structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. Each starter unit comes with rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal Z beams that adjust vertically on 1" increments. A chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. This system is designed for retail, commercial, and industrial use with an open design allowing four-sided access, providing maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy and tool-free, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips.
