The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving Z beam add-on with wire decking features horizontal beams roll-formed to a Z-profile for increased shelf capacity, with wire decking that sits flush to the beams for improved stability and a neater appearance. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14-ga steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal Z beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The open design provides four side access and maximum flexibility, suitable for retail, commercial, and industrial spaces with various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly every facility area. The shelving supports a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level and is constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing and double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway for a structurally secure joint. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish resists chipping, while the wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and sprinkler water flow for enhanced fire safety. The kit includes snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips for easy assembly and expansion, with the ability to join units for greater stability using less construction effort than bolting starter units together.
