The SC Preferred 3 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage space in retail, commercial, and industrial environments, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments, while the open shelves are also adjustable in 1" increments. The assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports preventing beam rotation under full load and double rivet button stud construction securing perimeter beams into the corner post to eliminate back and side sway. The chip resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability, and the wire mesh decking allows ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and easy sprinkler water passage, improving fire safety.
