The Mitutoyo 500-196-30CERT 0-6" Digimatic digital caliper features a large and clear LCD readout and includes a zero/ABS key that allows the display to be zero-set at any slider position along the scale for incremental comparison measurements. This switch also enables a return to the absolute (ABS) coordinate, displaying the true position from the origin point, typically the jaws-closed position. The caliper has carbide-tipped jaws and is designed with hardened stainless steel construction, offering 4-way measurement capabilities for outer diameter (OD), inner diameter (ID), depth, and step measurements. It boasts a battery life of 20,000 hours under normal conditions and is supplied in a fitted plastic case.
