Space-savings storage containers are designed for easy filling, stacking, and loading, making them ideal for multi-trip applications. Constructed with FDA hot-dipped galvanized steel, these cages meet food code requirements for non-direct food contact environments and are suitable for storing both hazardous and non-hazardous contents. The pallet base construction combines steel and plastic for enhanced durability and structural integrity. Each container features an inner storage tank made from HDPE natural plastic with a UV-blocking additive, along with a 2" butterfly valve equipped with a durable synthetic fluorocarbon rubber gasket. The top fill cap has a 6" diameter and includes a 2" bung. The complete unit is UN approved under the designation UN 31HA1/Y. According to Department of Transportation regulations, it is the responsibility of the filler or offeror for shipment to determine the appropriate hazard class, packing group, and suitability for transportation, considering the compatibility of the materials of construction, gaskets, coatings, lining, surface treatments, and service equipment. Furthermore, it is the shipper's duty to ensure that each container is closed according to the manufacturer’s closing instructions.
