The Coxreels EZ-SH-450-HV 1/2" x 50' 300 PSI EZ-Coil® Safety Series spring retractable hose reel features a high visibility hose and is part of the SH Series "Super Hub™" spring driven hose reels, known for their dependable performance. This reel has a larger chassis and frame to accommodate longer lengths and larger diameters of hose. It incorporates Coxreels' original Super Hub™ dual axle support system, which enhances stability during operation, reduces vibration, and strengthens the structural integrity of the reel. The external fluid path is machined from solid brass with a 90° full-flow NPT swivel inlet, and it includes a zinc plated steel swivel on HP models. The swivel seals are made from NITRI, and the sturdy single pedestal design features the exclusive Super Hub™ dual axle support system. The adjustable guide arm allows for wall, floor, vehicle, and overhead positions. Constructed from heavy gauge 1/4" steel, the solid one-piece base and support post ensure maximum stability. It has a 1" solid steel axle and lubricated precision bearings for smooth rotation. The controlled retraction speed is up to 80% slower on EZ-Coil® models, with an enclosed factory-tuned and matched cartridge-style spring motor. The non-corrosive stainless steel spring, pawl, and zinc plated ratchet multi-position lock mechanism secures the hose at the desired length. Additional features include professional-grade heavy-duty steel construction, a durable proprietary CPC™ powder coat finish, rolled edges, ribbed discs for strength and safety, and a leading 2-year manufacturer's limited warranty. The swivel is machined from solid brass for simple seal maintenance and fast hose installation without needing to remove the reel from its mount. The EZ-Coil® system includes a lubricated and enclosed cartridge-style motor that is easily removable for safe and convenient maintenance, equipped with a patented safety system that retracts up to 80% slower than conventional reels.
