The SC Preferred 3 shelf, heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage area with a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable, adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments for customizable configuration. The unit allows four side access due to its open design, providing maximum flexibility. Easy assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports preventing beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, and double riveted horizontal beams adjusting vertically in 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability, and the sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard provides cost-effective solid decking, shipped in two pieces.
