The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing for customizable storage configurations. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts forming a structurally secure joint, preventing back and side sway. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. The shelving is finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel. The deck consists of sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard shipped in two pieces, providing a cost-effective solid surface. Assembly is easy and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components for quick setup.
