The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial applications, accommodating various heights, widths, and depths. It features a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level, with durable roll-formed steel framing for maximum support and front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments using snap-in components, allowing easy assembly without bolts, nuts, or clips. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form structurally secure joints, eliminating back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically in 1" increments. The chip resistant gray baked enamel finish protects the steel components, and the sturdy smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking provides a cost-effective solid surface. The particleboard ships in two pieces.
