The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas with a maximum storage weight of 1800 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial applications, accommodating various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly every facility space. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing for flexible organization. The shelving unit is constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing and rugged 2" x 1" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts for a structurally secure joint, which eliminates back and side sway. The system includes easy assembly with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The package includes a starter unit with chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and 5 shelves made from sturdy, smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard providing cost-effective solid decking.
