The drum storage cabinet features self-close doors and is constructed of double-walled 18-gauge all-welded steel with 350 lb galvanized steel shelves, ensuring strength and long-lasting durability. This flammable safety cabinet allows for the secure, convenient vertical storage of 55-gallon drums of waste liquids pending pickup and disposal. It includes a 1-1/2" insulating air space to help maintain temperature stability and is equipped with a built-in grounding connector. The cabinet has dual 2" vents for connecting to an exhaust system and a 2" D leak-proof doorsill to contain spills. With half-depth shelves for drum pump access and a spacious design accommodating drum funnels, the SpillSlope™ shelf directs spills to the back and bottom of the cabinet. Doors feature full-length piano hinges and recessed paddle handles with a cylinder lock and padlockable latch for enhanced security, along with a stainless steel 3-point self-latching system for positive door locking. Adjustable leveling feet are included for uneven floors, and the cabinet has a durable powder coat finish complemented by a Haz-Alert™ trilingual reflective warning label for high visibility. It is compliant with the National Fire Protection Association flammable combustible liquid code #30 and OSHA standard 1910.106 for the storage of Class I, II, and III liquids and is FM approved. In the event of a fire, the self-close doors will activate via a fusible link that melts at 165°, releasing the closing mechanism. The cabinet has a capacity of 1x55-gallon drum and dimensions of 34" W x 34" D x 65" H, with one adjustable shelf and a white color finish. A steel ramp is also available, and the product comes with a 10-year limited warranty.
