Eagle's 45-gallon, self-closing, flammable liquid safety cabinet is constructed of 18-gauge (1 mm) steel, featuring reinforced double-wall construction with a 1-1/2 in (3.8 cm) air space on the sides, top, bottom, back, and doors. This cabinet includes two 2 in (5.1 cm) internal vents, each equipped with threaded fittings, a fire baffle, and cap. It is finished with a lead-free, high-gloss, baked-on powder coat and features continuous piano hinges, a ground connection, and four adjustable galvanized leveling legs. The cabinet is designed with trilingual warning labels, a 2 in (5.1 cm) raised leakproof sill, and patented adjustable galvanized steel shelves that direct spills to the back and bottom of the leakproof sump, holding a uniform distributed load (UDL) of 350 lbs (158.8 kg). The internal and external construction is fully welded, with a flush-mounted door handle, a three-point stainless steel bullet latching system, self-latching doors, and a concealed self-close mechanism for obstruction-free access to the top shelf. The cabinet's door closings are self-closing with a 135-degree opening, and the design ensures that the self-indexing doors close in sequence for a tight closure from top to bottom. Internal dimensions measure 39.5"W x 14.562"D x 60.5"H. The cabinets are FM-approved and comply with NFPA Code 30 and OSHA requirements.
